The Chase EPS External Wall Cladding System has undergone significant independent testing to confirm the suitability of the system to the performance requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC: 2019) Volume 2 and is approved for use in building types 1 & 10. The system has achieved CodeMarkTM certification providing complete assurance that it is approved for use by building authorities across Australia.

A Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) is a means of measuring the severity of a building’s potential exposure to ember attack, radiant heat and direct flame contact. It’s measured in increments of radiant heat (expressed in kilowatts/m2). A BAL rating is the basis for establishing the requirements for construction (under the Australian Standard AS 3959-2009 Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone Aread), to improve protection of building elements from bushfire attache meaning it can confidently be used in bushfire prone areas. Chase EPS External Wall Cladding System proudly acheives a BAL29 rating.
